Payment Trouble at Checkout? Here's How to Fix It Fast

Kozmozcyber Support · Payments

Most card errors are quick fixes on your end — not a problem with your order. Find your error below and get back on the grid in under a minute.

Quick Checklist First

  • Double-check your card number, expiration date, and CVC — see exact digit counts per card brand below.
  • Confirm the billing ZIP/postal code matches what your bank has on file for that card.
  • Make sure your card has enough available balance or credit for the order total.
  • If your bank sends a text code or app approval request, complete it — don't close the checkout tab while you wait.
  • Still stuck? Try a different card, or pay with PayPal instead.

Card & Bank-Side Issues

These come from your card or your bank — a quick fix on your end usually clears them.

Your bankMy card was declined — what does that mean? +

A decline means your bank stopped the charge, not Kozmozcyber. Banks block card payments for all kinds of reasons: security holds, spending limits, or details that don't match. Scroll down to find your specific message, or just try one of these first:

  • Contact your bank to ask why the charge was blocked and request they allow it.
  • Try a different card.
  • Switch to PayPal at checkout.
Your card"Insufficient funds" or "card limit reached" +

Your debit card doesn't have enough balance, or your credit card is at or near its limit.

  • Add funds to your debit account, or pay down your credit card balance to free up room.
  • Use a different card that has enough available balance.
Your card"Card expired" +

The expiration date on your card has already passed.

  • Check the MM/YY printed on the front of the card.
  • If it's expired, use a different, currently valid card.
Your card"Incorrect card number, CVC, or expiration date" +

This is usually a typo or a missing digit, not a real problem with the card. The card number field needs the exact digit count for your card brand:

Card brand Card number CVC / security code
Visa 16 digits 3 digits, back of card
Mastercard 16 digits 3 digits, back of card
American Express 15 digits 4 digits, front of card (above the number)
Discover 16 digits 3 digits, back of card
  • Count the digits on your card and compare to the table above — a missing or extra digit is the most common cause of this error.
  • Type the number as one continuous string, with no spaces or dashes.
  • Make sure the expiration month is 01-12 and the year is in the future.
Your bankBilling ZIP or postal code doesn't match +

Your bank compares the ZIP/postal code you enter at checkout against the billing address on file for that card. If they don't match, the payment can be declined.

  • Enter the postal code linked to your card's billing address, not your shipping address (if they're different).
  • Double check for typos, especially with international postal codes.
Your bankI got a verification prompt (text code, app approval, or fingerprint) and it still didn't go through +

Many banks require a quick identity check for online payments, known as 3D Secure. This can be a one-time code sent by SMS, a push notification in your banking app, or a fingerprint/Face ID prompt.

  • Keep the checkout tab or app open while you complete the verification.
  • Approve the request as soon as it arrives — these prompts often expire after a couple of minutes.
  • If you didn't receive a code or notification, check your bank app directly or contact your bank.
  • Once verified, try the payment again from the beginning.
Security checkMy payment was blocked for "security review" +

Our checkout uses automated fraud protection to keep both customers and the store safe. On rare occasions it flags a legitimate order, usually because of a new device, an unusual location, or a mismatch between your card and other checkout details.

  • Try completing the order from your usual device and home network (avoid VPNs at checkout).
  • Try PayPal or a different card.
  • If it keeps happening, email us at support@kozmozcyber.com with a screenshot of the error and we'll take a look.
Your card"Too many attempts" or the payment locked after retrying +

Trying several cards or repeating the payment quickly can trigger a temporary safety lock on the card or checkout session.

  • Wait 15-30 minutes before trying again.
  • Use just one card on the next attempt instead of cycling through several.
Your bankInternational payment blocked by my bank (EU/overseas cards) +

Some banks, especially in the EU, automatically block cross-border online payments unless international payments are enabled, or unless you complete an extra verification step required by local banking regulations.

  • Open your banking app and enable "online" or "international payments" for the card.
  • Complete any identity verification step your bank sends during checkout (see the verification prompt section above).
  • If it's still blocked, call your bank and ask them to approve a payment to Kozmozcyber, then try again.

Sometimes It's Not Your Card. It's Us.

These are on our side, not your bank. Please don't retry over and over — email us instead and we'll sort it out.

Our systemThe checkout page froze, errored out, or nothing happened after I clicked Pay +

This is usually a short connection hiccup between the store and our payment processor.

  • Refresh the checkout page and try again once.
  • Check your bank statement before retrying — if you were actually charged, don't place a duplicate order.
  • If it still won't go through, email us at support@kozmozcyber.com with a screenshot of the error. We'll help within 24 hours.
Our systemThe payment page says the service is temporarily down or under maintenance +

Our payment processor occasionally runs short maintenance windows or has a brief outage. This isn't something wrong with your card.

  • Wait 15-20 minutes and try again.
  • If the message is still there, email us a screenshot at support@kozmozcyber.com and we'll confirm when checkout is back up, and help you complete the order. We'll reply within 24 hours.
Our systemMy discount code broke checkout or the total looks wrong +

Occasionally a promo code conflicts with another offer already applied to your cart, which can block payment or show an incorrect total.

  • Remove the code, confirm the total looks right, then try paying again.
  • If the price still looks wrong, email us a screenshot of your cart and the code you used at support@kozmozcyber.com. We'll fix it and reply within 24 hours.
Our systemAn item sold out or changed price while I was checking out +

On rare occasions our stock or pricing updates a few seconds after you've added an item to your cart, which can cause the payment step to fail.

  • Refresh the product page to see current stock and price, then rebuild your cart.
  • If the item shows in stock on the page but checkout still fails, email us a screenshot at support@kozmozcyber.com and we'll help you complete the order. We'll reply within 24 hours.
Our systemI was charged twice for the same order +

This can happen if the checkout page reloaded, or the Pay button was clicked more than once while the page was still processing.

  • Do not place a new order or dispute the charge with your bank first.
  • Email us at support@kozmozcyber.com with a screenshot of both charges from your bank statement. We'll confirm and refund the duplicate within 24 hours.

Still can't get your payment through?

Email us a screenshot of the error message along with the card type you tried (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and we'll help you sort it out. We reply within 24 hours.
